Hello Everyone,

I sent mine July 15th...Now the waiting begins.

Good luck to all and I hope we can help each other along the way..

We sent ours July 15 th too and we got our NOA1 July 21th.

Now we r waiting for our NOA2, hopefully we get it end November/December.

Is there anything to prepare for the next time meanwhile...plz hellllllllllllp.

So no TSC approvals today? Man this sucks!

I have a question. When you're counting how many days you've waited so far, do you count from the date on your NOA1, or from when USCIS received your package? I'm just preparing myself for when I can complain to USCIS about my over 5-month wait time.

If I count from when USCIS received it, in a week it will be 5 months. So sad. And I no everyone says that touches/no touches don't necessarily mean anything but I haven't been touched since 7/26! Not even for my TSC transfer! I didn't get an email nor text even though I am subscribed. :bonk:

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

According to your timeline, I dont see how in a week it will be 5 months for you.....I filed before you and it wont be 5 months for over two weeks from now. I understand your frustration though.

Apeters,

I was counting from when my application was received at the Lockbox, that's why I was posing the question as to when I am supposed to start my countdown. If it was from when Chicago received my petition, I would be going on 20 weeks, thus equating 5 months.

BUT since I am counting down from my NOA1 date, it will be more like an additional 2-3 weeks to make it 5 months.

07/26/10: Touched

11/03/10: Case Transferred to TSC

11/30/10: Touched! FINALLY

12/01/10: Touched, AGAIN!

03/24/11: Emailed my I-864 AGAIN because NVC is saying they did not receive it.

04/08/11: NVC robot says they are "Awaiting my Biographic Data" which I assume means they reviewed my I-864

04/11/11: NVC is saying I am missing info, that I did not send in all my documents.

04.14.11: NVC is saying i never emailed anything. I contacted my senate office, who is getting things handled for me at NVC.

05.12.11: OMG SIF!

Only for the beneficiary is required.

As a July filer they will have no information for you at this point as you are still within their processing times. Unfortunately it is still a waitng game. Good luck!
