Nothing to report, lol. Wife is going to call USCIS later today to see if they've made a decision, they got the required docuents on thursday. That's plenty of damn time, lol. I'm going to go visit this wednesday, going to stay for a week and a half...I'm sure no one will miss my rude ####, lol.

Perfect deer hunting weather.

Just waiting to see what's goin on with Richi, I'm counting up in my head when all this will be done, either with or without expedite, if granted.

If granted, I'm guessing we might get lucky and interview in February, if not...probably looking at May 2011..which would almost be near our one year wedding anniversary.

It's hard to stay positive with the holidays coming. Guess I'm just fortunate that it's only a 4 hour drive to see my family in the States, as compared to some of you that are overseas.

Have an excellent time with your wife!!! You are really so fortunate that your wife lives so close, just 4h! Wow!! I live thousands of miles from my hubby, but I am sill positive, sooner or later we all will be there. And one thing I know for sure: next year at this time we will not even remember about this long wait and USCIS hahahakicking.gif

Guys, i have a question: when you pay $404.00 Immigrant Visa Processing Fee, will you also have to pay another fee when they issue you a visa at US consulate in your country during the inerview?

@skynaut, If you pay $404 IV fee, then there is no other fee in the Consulate. Medical will cost some. And some countries have an agent to return the passport, so their minor charges too.

@All, CRN, Sahlis, skynaut, Cip and others, the wait is no too long. If CSC reaches by Nov/Dec for July filers' approval, then add another 3 to 4 months to complete NVC and Consulate interview process. Some Consulates will get faster interview too, some are slower. NVC used to take 1 month in the past, but now I see 1.5 to 2 months for Case completion. Probably, when you enter, NVC should be faster and some time in I-130 stage can catch up!
