Hi! I am a July filer. It's so helpful/encouraging to visit visajourney and see all your stories. Over the last few days, I've been visiting the site every day and getting great advice and encouragement, sometimes in person and sometimes by reading old threads. I feel very lucky to have access to this resource and am thankful for htose who have helped me inthe last few days.

I know I probably won't get my NOA2 until the end of November or December, maybe even January. It's just encouraging to see that I'm not alone and there are others in the same boat.

To get ready, we are getting our documents together (birth, marriage and police certificates, etc.) so that we can send them off asap after the NOA2 arrives. I feel lucky because I will see my husband this weekend (it's Canadian thanksgiving). While he's here we will fill out DS-230 & I-864 forms for the next stage as much as we can. I just heard today that my second police certificate is ready - yay! Hopefully later this week, it will be sent by courier. Other than that, I think the only thing I can do in the meantime is get my antibody titers blood test to see which of the vaccines I've had in the past are still providing immunity.

I wonder, is there anything else you would do to prepare in advance?

Are you VSC or CSC petitioner? If receipt# starts with EAC - Vermont, WAC - California.

Signature - If you go to your user settings in VJ, you can create the signature with your timeline, as we do.

Ya, we need some CSC approvals now..maybe they're cycling at VSC and CSC..meaning at CSC they're working on different visas at the moment..VSC switching over to another category...I think I read somewhere that the visas get cycled, meaning one type for a few weeks, and then other visas for another few weeks and then back to another?

Congrats loto...Is there any way I can predict my acceptance date based on case number? Is there anyway I can call USCIS and make it go quicker?

If you have any valid grounds on the "expedite criteria" defined by the USCIS, yes. Otherwise, will have to wait until approval.

Hope CSC will speed up soon. Based on the data, current estimate is December approval for most of the July CSC guys.
