What I found is there are some I-130 approvals here and there around July 17, 2010 time period.

May be some expedite and may be some went to a 'good adjudicator'.

I intend to...our attorney sent a letter requesting expedited processing...don't know if they even read it. So my wife is going to try going through the congressman...the congressman's office sent the forms she has to fill out and she has to mail them back. When she called the office and told them our 'whole' situation..they seemed sympathetic and motivated to help us. So we'll just see.

nayoub66, it won't delay anything.

If there is no reason to expedite, only thing the congressperson can do is just check the status, and the standard response will be "USCIS is processing your case. Normally it takes 5 months of processing time."
