Congrats.......that is good news for all of us I think....over next few weeks we should start seeing more...i think im earliest on of this group at CSC...but we now know vermont is up to july and looking to be ahead of schedule.

My NOA1 date is June 22nd and my case is with VSC. I wouldn't make a blanket statement saying that Vermont is up to July. I think this is an isolated approval. I know many others that have I-130's pending at the VSC that have May and June NOA1's that are still waiting...

omg omg..... I was touched yesterday and this morning I got an email from USCIS said they mailed me a notice of approval!!!

what am I supposed to do next??

Wait about 2 weeks from the NOA-2 'Approval Date' printed in the new I-797-C

then

call/harry/harras NVC via telephone, to get the GUZ casefile #

then you can start NVC Processing.

Please NOTE - you qualify for OPTING IN to NVC Electronic Processing - see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing for all the steps.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

In general, I believe that petitions ARE processed on a first come/first serve basis. However, there appear to be exceptions to the rule whereby some petitions get processed much faster/earlier than other petitions that were filed around the same time. It's not often, but it does happen. Why? I have no idea. Maybe they get placed in the wrong pile? maybe USCIS is playing some kind of head game to throw people off track? I have no clue whatsoever.

FWIW, you don't need the NOA-2 in yer hands, to do any NVC processing. You may want to get a skype account (this week), though, pay for 'real telephone calls' - is some unlimited plan for 3 months, around 20 bucks - is useful when in China , needing to hunt/harry/harras NVC for the GUZ casefile #. see http://buy.skype.com/paymonthly/?country=US get the 2.99/month unlimited USA package - yes - it works FROM CHINA at that rate.

ah - cool [[[]]] Off to BeiJing ! Perfecto, IMO, as is the right time to get the civil documents/police clearance certificate, as well.

I had her stuffed scanned in at a copy shop, after getting the white books done. I did not want to 'find a friend' somewhere to get it done, and at the time I had not set up a 'home office' anywhere in China (so no real gear for me). Copy Shops abound, they have big gear, suggest to burn all to CD there at the copy shop, as well.

You might want to prep and scan yer I-864 set this week - that'd be some good practice for you. Also practice filling out HER DS-230 and DS-3032 (see the wiki page for download links --> http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

Do note, though - if she's a 'migrant worker' - ie - she works in BeiJing but her Hukuo registration book is for another city - is best to plan a 3 day trip to 'that other city' to get the white books. White book discussion --> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/228853-notarial-birth-certificate/ but ignore the bickering.

Mondo Exciting !!!
