When should us July filers be expecting an NOA2? And the visa?

Based on average processing time, I-130 approval takes 4 to 6 months time. So, we should expect it Nov-Jan timeframe.

Approved I-130 will be forwarded to NVC.

Based on current timeframe, NVC can finish it in 1 to 2 months time.

Completed case in NVC will be forwarded to the Foreign consulate.

It depends on the Consulate, but typically another 1 to 2 months time for the interview.

Cip, I noted your 2 year marriage anniversay on 2/28/2011 from other thread.

If your interview is on or around that date, just make sure POE in the U.S just after 2/28/2011, so that you can get IR1 (unconditional green card for 10 years) rather than CR1 (conditional green card for 2 years) GC. You know the removal of conditions in CR1, right?

My wife is getting her PCC in November. PCC in our Consulate is valid for only 6 months. My employment letter also will be arranged at the same time. Rest all documents are available for us in the NVC process.

I also have both of my wife's NBI (valid 1 year) & Police Certificate (valid 6 months?) in my hands. But I may tell her to get a new Police Certificate sometime in November. She have never lived outside of her country.
