You are correct on PCC. PCC is valid for 1 year for most consulates and 6 months for some. Validity is between issue date and interview date. So, as I told you, I'll also gather PCC somewhere closer (imaginatory assumption ) to the I-130 approval.

NVC will forward all the documents to the Consulate. The link I provided just before this has detailed instructions. Beneficiary need not to pay anything at the Consulate. In some countries, beneficiary will pay to the agent a small fee to deliver the visa stamped passport back.

Petitioner will pay $88 for AOS (I-864) review fee to NVC.

Petitioner will pay $404 IV fee to the NVC, if the choice of agent is petitioner.

Since beneficiary's ALL ORIGINALS are submitted to NVC, beneficiary will have to take the below documents at the time of interview:

Visa interview appointment letter

Applicant’s original passport

Applicant’s photographs

Medical Report

Excessive evidence to prove marital relationship in addition to the marriage certificate. This can be wedding album, honeymoon pictures, email/chat/phone records, joint bank account/joint property ownership etc. If the interview is to take place through a glass window, make sure things are flat enough to be passed through.

Copies - I-130 set, I-864, DS-3032 and DS-230 sets provided by the petitioner (Originals will be with the Consulate forwarded by NVC. Don't forget to collect them back after interview)

Applicant’s identification info, such as driver license, voter’s registration card etc.

All applicant’s education, employment and all personal files

Petitioner’s original documents/copies are optional. However, it is a good idea to bring them too at interview time. You never know.

Courier office receipts, if applicable

Hummm... I probably misunderstood smth here. This is what embassy page says:

On the day of the formal visa interview all applicants for immigrant and fiancé(e) visas, including children and babies, will be required to present the following documents where applicable. All documents, except passports and photographs, must be submitted in single copy, with the original document bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing authority. If only the original of the birth, marriage and/or other certificates is available, the applicant may submit one photocopy thereof but must bring the original(s) with him/her to the interview for inspection by the consular officer.These documents must not be mailed to the Embassy. You will be required to furnish the documents on the day of your visa interview.

So if I understood Loto correctly, he said that ALL documents have to be sent to NVC, but here they say I have to bring them to the interview??? http://poland.usemba...s_required.html

Passport

The passport should be valid for at least sixty days beyond the period of validity of the visa. Please remove any plastic sleeves/coverings from the passport.

Photograph

Each applicant must submit one photo which meets all the requirements listed here.

Immigrant Visa Application Forms

Application forms DS-230 Part I and Part II should be completed in English.

Birth Certificate

Each applicant must bring an original copy of their birth certificate

Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

Financial Documents

Family based immigrant visa applicants must submit an affidavit of support from the petitioner and from a joint sponsor, if required.

• Form I-864 Affidavit of Support with sponsor's original signature;
• Form I-864A Supplemental Affidavit of Support with sponsor's original signature;
• Complete Federal Income Tax Returns from any sponsor for the most recent year (including forms 1040 and W2 or schedule C, E, etc. as required by IRS);
• Additional documents related to the sponsor's financial situation (ex.: employment statement, bank account statement).

If the dependents do not travel to the U.S. with the principal applicant, each dependent will require a signed original I-864/I-864A and complete set of supporting documents. Dependents of sponsored immigrants in the family preference categories who will travel to the U.S. with the principal applicant may furnish only one set of financial documents, if they are named in the form I-864.

I went through the Poland U.S Consulate website. I think it is better to email them and ask if one needs to present originals at the interview or NVC will forward them.

There are DCF filers direct to the Consulate. For them, they need to present originals at the interview since there is no involvement of NVC.

I am not sure about Poland U.S embassy requirement. It is better to email them and confirm and mention it is IR1/CR1 process with the USCIS and NVC.

Mostly, NVC will forward originals to the Consulate. But, after reading your link, I am confused

Once the NVC determines the file is complete with all the required documents, they schedule the applicant’s interview appointment. NVC then sends the file, containing the applicant’s petition and the documents listed above, to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where the applicant will be interviewed for a visa. The applicant, petitioner, attorney, and third-party agent, if applicable, will receive appointment emails, or letters (if no email address if available), containing the date and time of the applicant's visa interview along with instructions, including guidance for obtaining a medical examination.

Applicants should bring their valid passports, as well as any other documentation above not already provided to NVC, to their visa interviews. During the interview process, ink-free, digital fingerprint scans will be taken. Applicants will receive their original civil documents and original translations back at the time of interview.

NVC forwards all your craps to Embassy/Consulate. So they should have the originals if you submitted them. If you never submitted originals, then take them with you. Easy as that, champs. Why you people gotta make this more complicated than it is? I'm asking this to everyone.

Loto, it is not just Poland, Lithuanian embassy too has the same requirements... Well, misleading but not a biggie, we'll get all the requirements in their letters when the time comes hehehe just again waist of time...

NVC forwards all your craps to Embassy/Consulate. So they should have the originals if you submitted them. If you never submitted originals, then take them with you. Easy as that, champs. Why you people gotta make this more complicated than it is? I'm asking this to everyone.

hahaha maybe in Bangladesh it is easy, while in EU it is not LOL Coz on Lithuanian embassy page they say that even AOS should be taken to the interview LOL so if it is supposed to be sent to NVC, why should I take it there? LOL Those people don't know what they want
