Hey any July filers get their Biometrics appointment yet? That's what comes next, right? I'm assuming that request goes to the beneficiary? THANKS!!!

I hope your beneficiary is waiting in Canada for regular IR1/CR1 process with I-130, NVC and Consulate Interview. If yes, there is no biometrics. Cosulate will take beneficiary's fingerprints at the time of Interview.

If you do Adjustment of Status (AOS) with I-130 and I-485 with the beneficiary in the U.S, yes, there is a Biometrics (fingerprint) notice sent out by USCIS.

Hi Loto,

He's in Canada waiting. Haha, not AOS here. I think I was on auto-pilot when I read my case update on the USCIS page because it says to wait for a biometrics appointment, but ONLY for specific filers, which I'm not a part of. Oh well, I guess onto collecting more evidence of a bona fide marriage. Phew, I hate the waiting game :hehe:

I tried to expedite my petition based on the second GC and the USC baby is waiting to come over here with my wife. But, my expedite denied :crying: I knew it would be denied, but just wanted a try :star:

Yes you are right skynaut. A few April filers also received NOA2. This I-130 wait is the pain, rest all we can predict and go little faster.

Last time our I-130 approved in 3.5 months time when most of the people were waiting for 4 to 6 months average time. This time I am not that optimisitc due to the complexity in our case. I think once Darnell commented out that the background check 'might be' little faster in our case since it has been done in the past. But, I don't know.
