My 5-months have passed. What can I do?

Contact USCIS and let them know your passed the 5 month mark and

do a SERVICE REQUEST TO get your NOA-1 approved, contact your congressmen

and US Senator and let them know also your past 5 months.

If you are a July-filer at TSC and haven't heard any updates since November, please contact your congressman. We contacted ours and received word today that our file will be processed within 45 days and go to NVC in about 2 months.

In spite of all the email and letters from TSC, our congressman's office found that our file had never been touched. Thankfully, our case is now moving forward. If all goes well, I'll be able to move to the USA at the end of October - just as if we had applied in November instead of July.

another favor for Loto, can you please delete that spreadsheet? I dont want to be reminded of how long it has taken wow...210 days and counting! You know that most people have an interview in that time? OUCH! I will be lucky if I am done with this whole process in less than one year

My 5 months were over on Dec 27th. I called USCIS yesterday and was told the processing time is 6 months due to the 30 day extension of "mail processing time". I looked at the USCIS' site, while I had her on the phone, which said the I-130 processing time was 5 months and told her that is what it says, she said he system says 6 months, I said my system says 5 months....it went no where. Its like banging your head against the wall.

But, she did put in a service request so I should receive an UPDATE in 30 days....HOW HELPFUL!!!!

So, I called my senators aid who is in charge of immigration and she said she would look into it but said it was likely my file is in Detroit and I will be called for an interview. Which should add 30-90 days to the process. And I called my lawyer and she didn't return my call. I feel like my sanity is decreasing linearly with time at this point.

Is anyone else out there dealing with a deportation? Or am I totally alone?
