Gay women are seen as sexy and their sexuality is more fluid (can go back to men at any moment).

I think the article raised an important point...that gay women are usually bisexual on TV. I'd hazard a guess that most straight men would not be all that turned on by your "typical" lesbian.

Anyway, I think there are a pretty good number of gays and lesbians on TV these days, especially reality TV.

It has nothing to do with being shocking. It's just less attractive.

I know plenty of straight women who have no problem going to a strip club. However the odds of you seeing a straight guy at a male strip club at slim to nil.

Men aren't pretty to look at. Men aren't 'pretty' especially to other men in a sexual way (unless you're gay).

Women are more beautiful than men. It truly is that simple. There's a beauty there that men and women can apprecaite regrdless of sexual orientation. I have a couple of gay friends who think the idea of sex with a woman is disgusting, but enjoy the female form because of its beauty. You just don't see that the other way around.

Seriously, it does happen the other way around. There are many women who find gay men attractive, and even the idea of men having sex attractive. There's an entire genre of writing --slash -- that is predicated on same sex fictional characters getting it on. Not always male characters, but more often than not. Seriously, some of the pairings are interesting. There are also women who like to watch gay male porn. This is beyond the usual faghaggery many of us ladies engage in.

We all have our own hang-ups and turn-ons. You'd be surprised what secrets lie beneath even the most milquetoast of appearances.

Little Mosque on the Prairie didn't fit the bill because it shows Muslims in *special* light. And Muslims are the main characters. I want a show say like Friend or Sienfield where there's a recurring Muslim character. He's not given the part because he's Muslim but being Muslims is one aspect of being the person.
