hello eveyone i hope you could help me on this... i recived a checklist last week that they need original copies of my birth certificate and marriage certificate and a photo copy of my passport... but i didint send a photo copy of my birth and marriage certificate only original copy of it... do you think NVc will still need the photo copies of my birth and marriage certificate? thanks in advance!!!

Interesting... First off the USCIS did NOT request you to send in the original documents... actually they said NOT too, I am curious on the you did. But I do know that the USCIS will send all the documents to the NVC.. so I would assume that the original documents would be submitted to them. When your case has been sent to NVC I would call them and ask them what to do... it might be that they require you to get the original documents and send them in again... If I were you I would just apply for all the Original DOcuments and atleast have them...

Hello.

Yep. The NVC requires an original/certified copy and a photo copy of the foreign spouse's birth certificate, original/certified copy and a photo copy your marriage certificate, and a photocopy of the foreign spouse's biographic page (where it shows your name and picture) of their passport.

hi guys thanks to all your reply.. i didnt send a photo copy of my birth and marriage certificate becuase my petitoner send it already.. but i'm not sure if it was send to USCIS or NVC... however, if they send it to USCIS all the documents will be send to NVC right? so i thoght of not sending them a photo copy.. i hope i did the right thing... thanks!!!

I would send a the original plus a photocopy to the NVC of everything that they are asking for. The NVC may or may not have the documents that were sent to USCIS originally.

for this, you'll need to call NVC, get a HUMAN, ask for an 'eye-ball review' of your documents in the casefile.

The document screeners aren't that 'swift' - if it wasn't in the submitted DS-230, then they will complain about it, without looking in the big casefile on the I-130.

So - call in on Monday to NVC, ask for 'eye-ball review' of the entire casefile, tell the NVC Human that the

--original marriage certificate and

--original birth certificate and

--copy of bio page of passport

are IN the I-130 casefile - please pull them, attach to the DS-230 and review again.
