For your kind information Hezbollahs are not hiding amongst Civilian. Common shia man (Civilian) in Lebanon is Hezbollah and they are resisting against fully equipped army. In order remove Hezbollah Israel has to remove Shias from Lebanon. Do you think it is an easy task?

It doesn't matter who you support. Israel's goal in this was to dismantle Hizballah which has not happened. IMO I don't think that will happen. The only way Israel can claim victory over Hizballah is to kill every single Shia person in Lebanon.

Let's just say that Hizballah was disarmed. There will always be underground movements and fighters, how do you think Hizballah was formed?

Nasrallah has already said he will not recognize Israel and that his goal is the destruction of Israel. Ahmedinijad has said this as well, and the Iranian role in propping up Hizballah is well known.

This means as long as Hizballah exists, Israel will not be allowed to exist in peace.

And now we're being told that every Shia in Lebanon is Hizballah.

So either Israel resigns itself to living in a constant state of war with a hostile enemy force, OR Israel eliminates the hostile enemy force.

Can you think of a more effective way to remove a hostile enemy force when that hostile enemy force is every Shia in Lebanon?

When we say that all Shia are Hizballah, that is because it is a political party. Granted there is also an an armed Militia within Hizballah which is the part that needs to be dismantled. I don't think a mushroom cloud is the soloution here. I agree that Israel should be allowed to live in peace, I think that everyone in that region should be allowed to live in peace. Such an act will only destabilize the entire area. Do you honestly think that if they would live in peace if something like that was carried out?

No, I don't. The Shia are not isolated enough and the area they occupy is not large enough. Radiation spreads, after all. If Hizballah lived in far-away Australia and they attacked Israel from over there, I'd say go for it. Nuke em. But Israel has to find a different solution.

Quite honestly, I think many arab coutries are on the right path to stabilzing that area. I think we need to keep moving in that direction. IMO the best way to dismantle the Hizballah is by supporting the Lebanese government in doing so. I say this because, Hizballah appeals to the people that support the resistance to occupation, they are going to declare a victory (they have already) and will gain more support. This works against the people and governments that are trying work diplomatically and stabilize the area.
