Oh and one more thing- those quotes you posted- I have read many of the books that they come from. Picking out a single quotation like that is very meaningless and misleading. None of the authors- Richard Dawkins particularly springs to mind- support the idea of creationism, and indeed they work in the field of evolutionary science. If he knew he had been quoted in such a way he would be laughing his a$$ off.

i know.. that's the easiest way to go.... just teach evolution in science, and teach evolution or ID in a non-science class.. simple as that.. and why? well, simply because ID or Evo can't be taught following the scientifical method.. therefore cannot be taught as a science. not because the 'god-haters' dont like evo or ID

Perfect. That's what should happen. If you don't believe what's being taught in public schools is right, then teach them yourself or place your children in a private school. A public school must be secular and remain so.

mhh how are private schools in USA? in Mexico they still have to stick to a certain Curriculum.. in elementary school I was in a very very catholic private school (from the Legionnaires of CHrist, so yeah, cocky kids school.. not me though lol).. and even though we prayed each morning, the 'padres' were our guardians and such, I still remember being taught evolution on science class, and then on our religion class we were not exactly taught creationism, but we were exposed to it.. and I never remember the padres getting a fit because we chose to 'believe' in Evo rather than creationism..

I still don't see why they can't be compatible..and why choosing Evo makes you less Christian..
