How many times do they feel the need to ask when your husband/wife is comming home? Do they think you have waited all this time, and what your keeping it a secert. or the questions of why is it taking so long, like if I knew I would not being driving myself nuts. Or the famous question can;t you call somone? Yeah how about I give you the uscis number you can wait for 30 minutes to get the same answer that you I got last week. HEY, I understand what you mean. People can be so judgemental. Thats why my job didnt even know he didnt come back home with me. They ask about him all the time, "Soooooooo, how's the married life treatin you?", or "Are you ready to throw in the towel yet?", or, "Girrrrrrrrrrrl, ny 1st husband...........", or ,"Its always good in the beginning until.........", I just look at them like I can totally understand why you are single or divorced, YOU NEVER SHUT UP! I wuoldnt dare tell people at work my personal business. Only 2 people knew and I trust them. One is a Dr. from India, so he totally understands as he had to go thru the same process and another teacher who is very sweet and we have cried on each thers shoulders as much as needed in the past 1-2 years. Most of them are just jealous anyway. You should have seen their faces when I told them I was leaving fro three weeks to go to africa and get married and especially the circumstances around the wedding as far as it being arranged. If looks could kill................ I wouldnt be a VJ member!

As far as my family, noboady asks but my dad. And he can ask all he wants to. I love my daddy!, My sisters and brothers think Im ctrazy and I told them dont ask me, and they haven't. So, noooooooooooo problem. The only question I have is......................... When the hell are they coming home?????? :P

I miss my (L) husband (L) sooooooooooo bad! Everyday seems like the first day I got home. I got both NOA1's from the 129 and the 130, but OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

LIMAH (L)(F)

Pray with me Forrest! Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here..... Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here!

In my instance...I don't feel it's judgemental at all...I think they are showing concern for my situation, which I appreciate :)

I didn't like to tell people the whole story either. Some people are judgemental. When I first told someone, she looked at me like I was crazy, I bet some people who know the whole story with us meeting in a Yahoo room and all that still talk about us. .. I know people jump to conclusions, and they do talk about me and my husband behind our backs, even those who pretend to be our friends.

I've heard that some have said he married me just to come to the US...It's sad and thats why I usually try to keep some stuff to myself and keep the coworkers out of my personal life. Still, the ones talking are my parent;'s friends...

The way to find out if you love someone or not, is by talking to them.

The more you talk to them the more you either hate them or love them.

Well, in this instance, I'm with Lisa. I think those who love you don't really know what to say about the situation so they just ask the same questions over and over. But it's because they care and are interested in knowing how soon they will be able to celebrate with you. (L) JMHO.

And Octa: I met my husband in a Yahoo chatroom too. Let people say whatever they want.

For me, that was over 6 years ago and we've been married 3 of those years so far. People tend to not say too much anymore about the fact that we met online. Other than to point out that we are one of the "success stories". :D
