Anyone have this happen? I just happened to decide to check our USCIS file online and saw that the AOS and EAD applications were touched on July 22...I didn't realize it had been that long since I checked the status..We were getting a little discouraged so we decided not to look or think about it for awhile.

But why would they touch the EAD application again? Carlos got the regular EAD near the end of June after finally getting a temp the beginning of June. I would like to think maybe they'll send our petition to California without having to mess with the whole interview stuff.. ;)

08 JUN 2006.....AP document recieved :)

09 JUN 2006.....regular EAD approval

14 JUN 2006.....regular EAD recieved in mail

22 JUL 2006......AOS and EAD (?) touched...moving along maybe? :)

21 AUG 2006....Recieved interview letter!

26 SEP 2006.....INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!

26 SEP 2006.....APPROVED WITH FLYING COLORS!

05 OCT 2006....Welcome letter recieved

11 OCT 2006....THE CARD ARRIVES!!!!!!!!!!

15 SEP 2008.....Sent for removal of conditions

24 SEP 2008.....NOA for removal of conditions

10 MAR 2009....Transferred from VSC to CSC

22 MAY 2009.....REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS APPROVED!!!!!! :) Citizenship here we come!

They've touched my husband's EAD I think 3 times in the past two months, the last time was on August 6- yet he was approved back in the early part of May. I am assuming it has to do with the AOS pw, but I have no clue. I have posted this questioin on here before without an answer, so I am assuming this is one of those things that no on really knows about...........

See my timeline for all previous dates!

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date

With thanks to all the helpful people who made this journey slightly more bearable.

Our EAD and AOS haven't been touched since July 6th but they touched our K1 on July 15th!! I have no idea why? Our K1 was approved back in May. I guess they review them together or something.

07/03/06- NOA1 received in the mail

07/17/06- biometrics appt. received in mail

07/25/06- biometrics in cleveland

08/30/06- case received at CSC

08/31/06- received a new NOA1 email

09/01/06- touched AOS

09/15/06- AOS APPROVED!! got email saying welcome letter was sent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

09/20/06- welcome letter received!!! and approval email sent

09/21/06- touched and GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!

06/08/07- one year anniversary

06/08/08- two year anniversary

06/08/09- three year anniversary

Removal of Conditions

06/17/08- package sent to California

06/19/08- California receives package

06/19/08-NOA1

06/28/08-Biometrics appointment

07/28/08-touched

09/01/08-received non conditional green card
