IS THERE ANYONE THAT KNOWS WHEN YOU LOG IN IN THE WEBSITE USICS UNDER MY PORTFOLIO, WHERE IT SAYS LAST UPDATE, THE DATE THAT APPEARS THERE IS THE UPDATE THAT USCIS HAS MADE WITH THE INFORMATION OR IT IS THE UPDATE THAT WE MADE???

Jan/21/10---- Application Received

Feb/11/10---- Biometrics Taken

March/12/10-- One Yr. Extension Received

March/23/10-- Green Card Expired

June/26/10--- Updated date in USCIS Portfolio

June/29/10--- Place Service Request

July/30/10--- Place 2nd Service Request

Sept/07/2010== Place 3rd Service Request

Sept/27/2010==EMAIL received post decision activity, green card apprived.

This is when USCIS had modified, checked or updated your application.

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony

An update is displayed whenever your File is touched by the USCIS. Most of the times, your files gets touched numerous times and it doesn't show an update on your Portfolio. So, you shouldn't reply much on it. But it does feel good when they do update your case online. :)

An update is displayed whenever your File is touched by the USCIS. Most of the times, your files gets touched numerous times and it doesn't show an update on your Portfolio. So, you shouldn't reply much on it. But it does feel good when they do update your case online. :)

At least that touched was a new for me is going to be xis months, and I havent receive any update or news, do you think it is important when the case is touched? that means that they are working hard on it? lol I just want a new, everyone had received their GC in less than 4 months :(

Dont't worry....you should be glad that your file isn't attracting dust somewhere in a corner and being processed. Important or not. My case took longer than many I know but eventually the torture was over. Best of Luck. Hope you hear some good news soon.
