From what I have read, if you sent your I-129f form into VSC after May 15th, 2010, your application was then forwarded to Texas for processing. Texas did not have a heavy workload, so the checks were cashed in Texas, the applications were processed quickly and without priority and returned to VSC. If you were one of the unfortunate ones, like myself) who sent their application in before May 15th, 2010, your application sat in a pile for 3 months waiting to be processed. I sent my application to VSC on March 31st, 2010 and received the NOA1 on April 2, 2010. I received no touches until July 9th, 2010 when it was approved (98 days after submitting it)

They may be back on track or 'on fire' now, but they certainly weren't a month ago. I read here on VJ where people were getting approved in as little as 30 days and they submitted their application 60 days after me! VSC didn't prioritize the applications, so people who submitted after the 15th were done quickly while others had to wait

Anyway, good luck.

We mailed ours April 23, and nothing except for one touch when I changed my address. So the pre/post May 15 thing seems to be true for us, unfortunately. crazy that people who submitted in july are already approved. 112 days and counting, i'm so jealous...

April 23 2010 -- I-129f sent

April 27 2010 -- check cashed, NOA1 dated

Aug 2, 2010 -- touched

Aug 13, 2010 -- date of NOA2, I-129F approved

Aug 17, 2010 -- NVC sent application to embassy

Sept 2, 2010 -- Medical

Sept 7, 2010 -- Receive checklist from embassy

Sept 7, 2010 -- Hand-deliver packet to embassy

Sept 30, 2010 -- Receive notice of interview date

Oct. 4, 2010 -- Interview!

You know. That is really great for who is/was on the lucky boat. But this makes me so mad! Our NOA1 is dated february 24th, the petition was last touched on MARCH FIRST. It's been 5 AND A HALF MONTHS, and I haven't even gotten an RFE or anything. We called, and they said that we would receive a letter in 30 days (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)of either approval, denial or RFE. This makes me sososososo mad. I feel like they forgot our petition at a corner somewhere while they are processing all the other ones, some within a MONTH of filing. This is unfair, as I thought they processed it on a first come first serve basis.

The USCIS website is actually telling everyone to send directly to Texas now, as of August 3rd.
