man its amazing how pervasive micrsoft technology is. All the competitors no matter what area they maybe in. SAP, ORACLE, IBM, SONY. etc. they all rely on microsoft technology. Their workers use microsoft products to accomplish everday task(email, word processing etc). They may use other products for hr, erp or what have you. Comanies that are coming up with open source products as rivals only try to create the exact same look and feel of microsoft.

That's awsome.

Microsoft rock so hard they rocked their way way way past 3 or 4 Vista release dates and added a few crappy apple knock off apps on the way.

Very inventive but not in a good way.

Cian = PHP/MySQL/Oracle/Perl Developer (Linux), Graphic Designer (Mac), and Web Designer.

There are a few apps that I HAVE to use Windows for. Hence, my system being a dual boot. Linux when I want an OS that works without major security risks, and without locking up and dying; Windows when I need to use one of the apps, and for testing.

I'm a Microsoft Partner, by the way.... I've had a version of Vista for a long time. (So long that it's named "Longhorn") Does it surprise anyone to know that I've had this version since 2003? And they STILL can't get it right!

Don't worry.....he isn't suffering. lol

His family was reasonably wealthy. His Dad gave him $10,000 when he turned 16 and told him that was it. Make with it what he could. So he bought $3500 worth of Microsoft, $3500 worth of Intel, and $1000 worth of something else (can't remember). Spent the other $2000 on an old ratty Ford truck.

He worked as an airline mechanic for United in Indy until they closed down. He never bothered getting another job.

Oh, and he gives GREAT holiday gifts! LOL!

Errr... no... Most main stream Oracle sytems run on Unix..
