My bank is now showing the check as cashed. But there's a different MSC number on the back, one that actually DOES show up in the system. It isn't any of the three that was sent to me yesterday. So I wonder if they've made a flubbaroo and sent out the wrong case numbers via text and email. AandB, are you able to check your status yet?

Guess I wont know for sure until I get the hardcopy in the mail.

04/12/17- Received Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

04/13/17- Credit Card Charged

04/14/17- NOA

05/08/17- Biometrics

05/11/17- In Line

:thumbs:Yes I sent my AOS package off on July 14,2010 and still no message or anything from USCIS !!!! I hope that i will hear from them soon .

Guess I wont know for sure until I get the hardcopy in the mail.

It takes a while for the status of your receipt number to be updated on the uscis website. Check after a couple of days and you will find your status under intial review.

17 Dec - I-129F Sent

21 Dec - NOA1

16 Mar - Touch 1

17 Mar - Touch 2

16 Mar - NOA 2 (No update on the uscis site) (85 days)

19th Mar - Package sent from NVC to Embassy

26th Mar - Chennai Embassy sends Packet 4!

27th Apr - Interview Scheduled APPROVED

17 May - POE at BWI

20 May - Wedding

AOS Journey

15 Jun - Applied for SSN

18 Jun - AOS, EAD, AP Packet Sent.

8 Jul - Package resent correcting the mistakes.

19 Jul - NOA1 notification on email/txt

19 Aug - Biometrics completed in Baltimore at assigned date.

31 Aug - EAD Card Production ordered (Email)

2 Sept - AP Approved (Email)

7 Sept - AP Received.

6 Oct - INTERVIEW! RFE for vaccination record.

8 Nov - USCIS receives completed vaccination record

24 Nov - Email from USCIS sying card production ordered

5 Dec - Green Card in the mail box :)

Oh yeah I know that part, I'm just wondering about the completely different MSC number showing up on the back of the check. I checked it and it already shows initial review. I don't expect the other 3 to show up until Monday or Tuesday.

I didn't ask my husband to verify if the check was cashed and if there was a receipt number with it, but when i try to look at my case status with the 3 MSC numbers i got yesterday by email, it doesn't work... So i guess it's normal for now.

01/12/2011: GreenCard approved!!!!

Green card expiration date: 01/05/2013
Sent ROC package to VSC: 11/16/2012
NOA1: 11/20/2012

Approval: 04/29/2013!!!!

Ok i have a 4th number with the cashed check. But it's not updated in the system yet either.. So none of the 4 numbers works right now :P

01/12/2011: GreenCard approved!!!!

Hello all!

I'm there with you all. I've been watching this wonderful forum, and thank you all for the great help and insights that were given to me through these forums. It would've been a zoo without this site. Anyways, I submitted my Application on June 30th, It was accepted on the 2nd of July, and the notice and checks were cashed on the 9th....Now I am waiting for my biometrics appointment :( .. I hate not being able to drive and just sitting at home checking the USCIS website every 5 min :'(

06/30/2010 - (XX) - Sent AOS package (130, 485, and 765) to Chicago lockbox per USPS express.

07/02/2010 - (00) - Received in Chicago, signed by L. Box (Clever Mr. Postman!)

07/09/2010 - (07) - All checks cashed by Uncle Sam

07/09/2010 - (07) - 3 NOAs sent out

07/12/2010 - (10) - 3 Hard copies for NOAs received by snail mail

I totally understand what you mean! I have no car here, i know i can drive up to 1 year with my canadian DL here but it's in french so i'm kind of scared, i try not to drive at all until i get a Texas DL. And also not being able to work, it's aweful! And i'm still waiting on my SSN as well. It's hard to be patient!! :whistle:

My first 3 "MSC" numbers finally shows on the USCIS website. The number that goes with the check isn't available still. Not sure what that 4th number will do anyways, since i have 3 applications, not 4 :P

My husband still hasn't gotten his emails yet either and we mailed his package out on July 13. Ours are probably on the same person's desk there at the processing site. Hopefully Monday brings good news.

UGH I forgot that it's the weekend! :angry:

I wasn't as on edge as for the K1 waiting for NOA2, but this is stressing me out because we are having our wedding in Seattle in September (live in Virginia) and will be going to Hawaii for a honeymoon for two weeks afterward and are nervous for getting an interview during then. It comes to that we have to have his green card before February so that he will be able to apply for student loans (going to graduate school to become a teacher), so we tried to time it so that unless we get the shortest interview date so far listed under the last 180 days, we should be fine.

We figured getting a government loan with low interest rates versus being forced to get a private student loan was more important than having to suddenly fly out from Seattle or Hawaii for an interview.

I cannot wait until David has his citizenship :wacko:

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

MY CHECKS CASHED!! WOOHOOO!!!!! :dancing: I didn't sign up for the text/email notification so I will just have to wait until I get some sort of notification in the mail.. I guess this means NOA1, right? I'm not even sure what NOA1 really means? Anyway.. seems that those of us who sent in around the 14th are all on the same timeline. I'm headed to Chicago next week to visit with my sister.. I totally wanna go to Dearborn Street and bang on the doors of USCIS and just marvel at the place.. lol! I'm a nerd.. yes... :goofy::jest:
