We were there at the same time and were denied as well. Do you happen to drive a Honda civic, just curious because when we pulled up I saw a girl leaving and she didn't look to happy LOL!!!

So i bet they were rude because i just went in before you, asking to do a walk-in, which didn't work out of course. They're probably tired of seeing people these days asking for the biometrics letter because they're over the processing times, etc..!! At least you were able to get the appointment closer!!

sorry to hear y'all didnt get to do a walk in today.. but it was worth a try. i guess im lucky that i went yesterday for walk in because they had an extra staff member. keep trying.. and at least everyone has their letters now!

just checked my case status again and my I-131 (travel doc), EAD and AOS were all touched again today

I hope that means my travel doc and my EAD card are in the mail.. wouldn't that be awesome?! I hope to receive some news soon also regarding my AOS and if I have to attend an interview or not.... now I know how y'all felt when you were getting these touches and notices TWO MONTHS AGO!

Congrats to those who are getting their GC and finding jobs... I feel a little bit more human each day now

I just checked my status again on USCIS and while last week, I received my I-512L Travel Document my status now says "Post Decision Activity".

I guess I really do need that small blue passport book to travel? What does "Post Decision Activity" mean?

A bit confused by all of this... have any of you out there experienced this? A&B what did you receive for a travel document?

I received 2 papers, a duplicate actually, with my picture on it... And my status says Post-decision activity as well. You should be ok to travel with this! But what is the small blue passport book you're talking about?

Once your petition is approved, the next step involves the actual physical printing of your card.

Thus the Step, "Card Production".

Once, the card is printed, it needs to be mailed out to you.

When that actually happens, you status is now changed to "Post Decision".

See the thing is, when you petition is approved, the Decision is made. Thus, the post-decision activity involves the mailing of your card.

Hey Slider.. I'm not talking about my EAD but my TRAVEL DOCUMENT. It was approved on 10/13 and I received the I-512L (Authorization for Advance Parole) just like A&B did. I was under the impression that THIS was all I needed to travel. I was under the impression that THIS was the final step. Now my status reflects "POST DECISION" - so what is all this about.. is this where they get to look at my I-131 application again and decide if they are gonna print me off that little blue passport book? Can they revoke their "APPROVED" decision at this stage?

There is no blue passport book, according to the best of my knowledge, the Advanced Parole document is just a card like EAD or a GC. There is no book, all you need to travel is that card and your Canadian passport.

I am trying to double check whether or not there is a "blue passport" book like you mentioned.

Nope.. I actually have a NEXUS card from a few years ago...

I found some details about the "blue book" reading some articles about Refugee Travel Document (I am not refugee status tho)

Form I-571. This is a passport-like, blue booklet that is valid for one year. The application for this document is made on Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.

I don't plan to spend more than 6 months back home... sheesh.. i dont even plan to spend more than one month. i'm looking forward to getting my butt back up there tho.. need to sort thru some family mess and heart ache and get things back on track. it's so hard to be all the way down here and not able to help immediately with all of the dramas going on.. then to be down here and have your own dramas happening.. it's just never ending... i wish we could merge the 2 cities together... and eliminate all of the red tape!

now, as i'm sure y'all are tired of hearing me talk about this ridiculous blue passport book and my biometrics saga...
