Just off the phone with USCIS AGAIN... agent was very thorough ... took alot of details and told me she put in another request. Gee.. thanks.

Transferred to IO... useless. I was told that she put in another request and within a few weeks I will have more info about my case. USELESS. I asked at what point does my case get escalated, or receives some extra attention to expedite it? She said "M'am, I put the request in so in a few weeks we will know more". Sure thing... ooookkkkkaaaaayyyyy....

I asked "so I'm just supposed to wait?" Her response "yes". UGH.

She did tell me that my Advanced Parole was VALID without biometrics and that I should bring my marriage certificate with me when I travel. She sounded very exasperated speaking with me.

I'm exasperated too but at least I do my best to sound pleasant! So fed up with all this...

:thumbs:Yes I sent my AOS package off on July 14,2010 and still no message or anything from USCIS !!!! I hope that i will hear from them soon .

Production ordered on my GC. Looks like I'm getting my updates in the correct order, unlike some other VJers.

I got an update a few minutes back about an approval notice being mailed out today and now my status is back to Post-Decision activity!

Mine did Card Production, then the next day got the approval email and it was back to post-decision. It was all jacked up. But at least it's here and he can apply for better jobs now in his field.

New here- just wanted to add my experience to the pool! I've been doing some hardcore digging because I couldn't find a reason why we hadn't received DH's biometrics appointment! I was getting panicky because we still haven't received it and it's been almost three months! Everywhere else I looked, people are getting their GCs in right and left when they filed around the same time that we did, and here we are still waiting for a stupid biometrics appointment!

We're in Dallas, guess we're just all stuck in this stupid biometrics boat together here in Texas. I was just so relieved to find a reason as to why we hadn't gotten anything in, even if it's just that we're in Dallas and not ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE US. Ridiculous. Seeing the number of times some people have contacted USCIS motivates me to do some more digging.. they just kept telling me to hold my horses, so I just kept waiting around. Going to start writing some letters to some senators and congressmen tonight!

Good luck to all, and to anyone who hasn't received their biometrics appointments: we feel your pain! We'll keep you updated.

June 2005 - First meeting :)

15 May 2010 - Married!

30 July 2010 – Sent packet via Fedex, expected arrival 4 August 2010

9 December 2010 - Interview at USCIS in Irving, Texas

22 December 2010 - Card Production Ordered!

31 December 2010 - Green Card received! Done with USCIS until 9 September 2012!

9 September 2012 - Green Card removal of conditions window opens

17 September 2012 - Sent I-751 and supporting evidence via Certified Mail USPS

20 September 2012 - USPS Certified Mail confirms delivery of I-751 packet

24 September 2012 - USPS Certified Mail receipt arrived

25 September 2012 - Check cleared

27 September 2012 - I-797 Notice of Action received for I-751 (listed receipt date: 21SEPT12)

3 October 2012 - I-797C Notice of Action received, ASC Appointment Notice for biometrics on 30OCT12

30 October 2012 - Biometrics completed during scheduled appointment

9 April 2013- 10 Year Card Production Ordered!

I received my RFE in the mail today. It turned out to be nothing too terrible - apparently I forgot to sign the G235a form (I don't know how!). I'm greatly relieved it was nothing more. Hopefully I can get that sent back to them tomorrow, and they'll resume processing my application.

'' under post decision activity'' !!!!

It's been a pretty anxious few days waiting for the RFE to arrive in the mail though. Ever since I got the email from USCIS to say that an RFE was on its way, my husband and I have been really worried. Now I'm kicking myself for having overlooked the small error. I'm also wondering why they didn't spot my mistake sooner - I got an RFE back in July/August because I submitted an out of date AP application with my I485. Hm. Maybe it was just processed by different department or something.

But, at least it's a simple error that can easily be fixed. I had been worried that it might be the medical that they'd sent an RFE for. I'm glad it wasn't.

Anyways. I'm so sorry to those of you who are still waiting for your bio appointments. This is getting beyond the point of ridiculous, and I hope that they schedule you an appointment soon.
