shakira08, you've had movement - AP and EAD approved and received. I don't see anything wrong with your process. You shouldn't be too stressed out, your letter will be there :thumbs:

If you want to ease your mind, call customer service, get transferred to an IO, and inquire if an interview letter has been issued to you or not. Use the excuse that you suspect maybe not receiving a mail, if you must have one (like a recent letter has been returned as "undeliverable") B-)

Also, if you're changing addresses, make sure you keep proof that you notified them, just in case they mess it up. I'm not saying they will, but it has happened, and it's better to have peace of mind.

Got an email and text this evening that my EAD had been approved :dance::dance::dance: . Im really happy but I wish it was the greencard that was approved. At least my husband can work. Hes already looking for a job :rofl::rofl: . Good luck to everyone else.

Still no news for me ! I was wondering do i have to get the Bio letter first before they approve my EAD or AP ? Or its just for the green card ?!!!!

I hope that i will hear good news about that letter .It has been almost 2 months and still no news .

I'm going to Orlando/ FL tomorrow for a honeymoon and i hope when i will come back i will see that letter in my mail box .

You can be approved for the EAD without completing your biometrics (like Bullwinkle)but they wont send you the card until the biometrics is completed. But you can get your AP without having completed the biometrics (like AandB)

I know i sound whining...but i am more of worries. I got worried too of my co-sponsor because she change address and she authorize me to mail it, so i can have file-copy for myself. I did mailed it the other day with a tracking number. I did try to track the forms via USPS tracking and it keep saying "receipt number not found" :devil: ................But i made photopy of everything and even have the receipt of the mailing. My husband says, it will arrive.....

How i wish, the interview letter will arrive soon though , so that at least i know what we will do incase we will transfer next month.....I haven't tried calling USCIS and i dont know how to get hold of an officer either, or might they will scolded me for asking inquiries to early......Oh well, lets see what will happen for the coming days, might the letter will be there soon i guess before i knew it..fingers crossed! :hehe:

Why some July Filers got there Interview Letter just after a month or so.....Our case has no movement since after Biometrics. I am getting worried now becoz we will be relocating next month for some house problems, and I dont want to messed up my paperworks. How i wish my interview letter arrived soon....i am sooo impatient of this whole process :wacko::wacko: .........I dont have any idea where is our case now in Missouri still or here in Local USCIS .......hope it will arrived soon......God pleaseeeeeeee... :crying::crying::crying:

Yeah, it was so funny. My husband had checked USCIS at about 8:30 p.m. There hadn't been a touch since 8/16/10, then boom, when I woke up and checked my email this morning there was an email from 9:30 p.m. last night saying that card production had been ordered for my husband's EAD! Yeah! We really want the card in his hands so he can start work but knowing it is approved is helping him to get direct offers from the businesses that want to hire him. I am so happy, now just to wait until Oct. 4 for our AOS interview in Detroit.

1/21/2010 - Visa delivered by courier- BUT, she opened sealed envelope that was for U.S. Immigration at POE.

Now embassy in Bogota wants us to do the medicals all over again.... nightmare continues.....

2/22/2010 - She went back to Bogota to get labs and medical re-done. Then back to embassy where they finally

re-issued the visa. Is valid until July 13th

7/3/2010 - She made it to the U.S. finally!!! I filed on November 11th 2008 and went thru 8 1/2 months of AP

AOS

12/16/2010 - Sent in packet by Fed Ex to Chicago

1/7/2011 - Notified by email from USCIS packet was received

1/25/2011 - Notified by email we are receiving an RFE

2/4/2011 - Sent translated birth cert in (RFE)

2/9/2011 - Biometrics done

3/1/2011 - EAD/AP card received
