Hi everyone, you guys are probably wondering who's this person that keeps popping up every now and then, but I read more than I post.

Congratulations to everyone with AP, EAD approvals and transfer to CSC.

As for us, hubby's biometrics was 8/26, of course he was touched that day and then on 9/3. No text or email yet about an approval but I hope to see some action very soon.

Woohoo, received my AP on tuesday and leaving for England today to see my family before I have to get stuck into working! Hope there are no problems with me coming back in, Im taking all my docs, just in case, Im a little nervous about using it. Ive heard some people had troubles coming back in on it. Does anyone know if I need to do the ESTA for when I come back? Im going to be getting my passport changed to have my married name on it when im home, so my current ESTA will expire.

Got to get back to packing! :dance:

Any extra stuff that I should bring with me other than what's written in the letter?

It doesn't have anything to do with K-1... I'm on a K-1 and i got transfered to CSC = 99% of chances of not having an interview.

Questions for those who asked for a service request for their Biometrics:

Have you got an email, letter in the mail, or both? (about that service request)

I got an email but no letter in the mail, it has been a week..

I'm wondering because the person who put my info in the computer at CSC messed up my appartment number and i want to know if i'll receive my mail from them or not (exemple: my approved AP) :blink:

Is it automatic to get a letter in the mail for the service request?

I did not receive anything except a confirmation # so far. They did not tell me anything about receiving a letter in the mail. All they said was I should hear something within 30 days, if not call back. We received his AP, but have not heard anything on the RFE and Biometrics... I hope this process speeds up soon.

I have to admit, I thought it was an RFE notice because I originally sent in the short form of my birth certificate but when I got my first NOA, I realized it and I went ahead and sent in a copy of the NOA and the long form and correct birth certificate to the National Benefits Center. I wrote a note explaining that I sent in the wrong BC with the hard copy NOA, so I guess that worked. So glad it was my interview letter.

Yey Im so happy for you. My biometrics is October 5th in Alexandria,VA. I used to live in Fort Washington but then I moved to Riverdale. Luckly for me the Alexandria ASC accepts walk ins. Our letter was mailed out 9/7/2010. Hopefully sometime this week we should receive. Come on greencard!!!!!

Latest and greatest via email yesterday: does this mean its been transferred from California/that I'm getting an interview? I feel like it does, though I have no idea to really base that opinion on-haha. Anyone get this kind of message?

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

That just means that your transfer to CSC was completed and now it's being processed again. Nothing to worry about. We all get those messages when you're transferred.
