It's awesome to know they do something post-receipt--thank you so much Krili! It's all babysteps: in the meantime, I stalk the USCIS site, peruse here and jog like I've never jogged in my life (excellent stress relief!)

My husband and I have been doing power walking each night.

My husband got called for a job interview today and it took 2 hours! Granted he can't accept the job since he doesn't have his work permit yet and it will likely be another 6 weeks. This company is kind of low on the wage scale anyway, 45 minutes from home, and it is a shift from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and I work from 7:30 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. as a teacher so I wouldn't see my husband much. I didn't like the fact that the company was willing to pay him cash under the table for him to work. If they do that kind of shady deal, what else might they lie about?

When the time is right the right job will come, oh, process those EAD's faster!

:thumbs:Yes I sent my AOS package off on July 14,2010 and still no message or anything from USCIS !!!! I hope that i will hear from them soon .

I don't really have much faith in the online case status system, so I haven't checked up on it yet. Until today.

All seems to be up-to-date with my case online. My I-485 and application for travel document are both listed. Last action on the travel document was on the 3rd August, and the current status is that it is under "initial review". My I-485 status was last updated on the 20th August, and lists my RFE as being the last action taken.

I'm not expecting to rely on the system very much, but it's nice to know that the information is there. Sorry to all those of you who are still waiting for the system to update with more recent information on the status of your case.

I called USCIS to ask for my Bio .They said they will send me one soon and if i will not get it in a month i should call them again! so it seems like i have to wait for another month !!!!

I called USCIS to ask for my Bio .They said they will send me one soon and if i will not get it in a month i should call them again! so it seems like i have to wait for another month !!!!

Seems that USCIS have really dropped the ball on Bio appointments lately. I dont understand how they have such massive disruptions in this process that they've been working on for years.

It won't actually change, it'll still say 'Initial Review', but you might get a touch... I personally only got a touch the day after my appointment.. before it wasn't even in the system :unsure:
