We had this little running joke in the September K-1 VSC thread that when it was taking too long for something to come for one of our people we'd threaten to send fingers and toes every day until it arrived.

Mathew has a few extra that I don't really think are beneficial to him... :innocent::whistle:

LOL it's okay. I got way excited and probably shoulda clarified better on that. :) But nevertheless, there's movement in your case. The biometrics letter will have to show up eventually. But I've heard that when you wait over 30 days for it you're supposed to call USCIS or make an infopass appointment.

I hope I don't pass 30 days but if I do I will be making an appt...

Well, someone sent some pretty toes because quite a few of us were transferred. Hopefully the biometricslettet will come in batches too! If not we'll start off by sending a well manicured finger ;)

Hii everyone,

I am beginning to get a little concerned and feelings of being forgotten yet again by USCIS are starting to creep in.Deja vu:(

Well our I-485 and I-765 cases are still not available online,it has not been a month but I thought that having cases online was comforting. And no bio letter,no email about any case transfers and seeing this increasing trend I kinda feel left out.Any July filers who are in a remotely similar situation?

For sure! All of our dates for the AOS stuff are so similar, I wouldn't be surprised if you got something soon (barring any retardation on their front).

I'm only a bit irked that it conflicts with my having to be @ the airport to pick my friend up on that day... wondering if I shouldn't do a walk in @ the place before hand? Any opinions from peeps?

Is it in the same town as the airport? At the Application Service Center we went to, it seemed as long as your appointment was on that day you could show up earlier. You might have to wait a bit, but is worth a shot.

My husband had an interview today. It seemed if he had his work permit (which likely won't arrive until beginning of October), he might have been offered a job today. They are interviewing someone else as well and will let him know next week if he gets called for a second interview. I hope something good comes of it all.

No action on his case since the biometrics got recorded and the online update (besides having the date change on the "last updated" column) doesn't say anything except what it said with the first NOA1 on Aug. 3. Ugh. I want my husband to be able to work, sooner rather than later.

I see several cases have been transferred to CSC including ones near my NOA1 date. That is exciting. At least they are doing something with cases. Waiting, waiting, waiting can be so torturous!

How do you know it's been transferred to CSC? I signed up for text/email notification as well but not once have I ever received any sort of notification.. even with my NOA there was nothing. I've been tracking my case on the USCIS website and my last touch was August 6th. Would/Should it say on there if my case was also transferred?

Still no bio letter for me.. creeping up on 30 days so I guess I can start calling them then if there is still no action. Ugh.. this waiting game can really ruin a girl!!! :(

BTW - what does it mean if your case has been transferred to CSC?? Is it a "good" thing, I guess???

In our case we got a text message and email, and then when we logged in to the website it showed a touch date of yesterday. The status still says initial review, but in the paragraph below it, it said that they had transferred our case to the California Service Center.

No Bio letter yet either? Come on USCIS!!!

Like Kayla*Mathew said, on my case status of I-485, it's still in initial review but it says "your case has been transfered to California service center...". And when your case is transfered, it means you probably won't have an interview. If it stays at the National Benefits center, you're most likely to have an interview at your local office. But at the end, we'll see the same result, an approved green card!!

01/12/2011: GreenCard approved!!!!

Green card expiration date: 01/05/2013
Sent ROC package to VSC: 11/16/2012

Mine says this for each 3 cases:

Initial Review

On July 22, 2010, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Am I missing the section that says "transferred"??? :crying: wahhhhhhhh!

Yeah, you haven't been transfered. Not yet... Maybe it will come, maybe it won't, you should receive an email if it's transfered. Don't worry, you'll still get your green card, sometimes having an interview is way faster than being transfered ;)

I got touched today wooohooooo :P
