So, I just received a text message saying my account had been updated. I was super excited thinking it would be the bio appt letter, but much to my surprise it is an RFE. I don't know what they could possibly need. Will this delay the bio appt even more? I guess all I can do is wait to find out what exactly they need :(

Update :

Ok guys i just got an update from USCIS '' On August 11, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. ''

What does that mean ? I guess when they transfer the case it means that we will not have an interview '' please correct me if i'm wrong''

At least i know that they are working on it .

Have a good day everyone .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Yeah I got the same thing the beginning of this month. If you've been transferred to CSC then you're unlikely to have an interview now unless something unexpected crops up with your case.

That is exciting news! It means that you will more likely than not will not have an interview and have to bring supporting docs to prove your relationship. Huzzah! Downside is that it seems to take a little longer than people who get an interview by a few weeks.

What the heck?!

Just got an e-mail:

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.

So, they sent it to California on 08/05 and now on 08/12 are sending it to DC? I've heard of casese being transferred back, but not this soon!

Okay. Did a quick VJ search and it looks like because the status does not say "National Benefits Center" or "local office" it looks like it might mean that the case is actually just physically arrived at California and they have scanned in the document.

:bonk:

Will call USCIS tomorrow to make sure! Of course they're likely to confuse me as well. Need to know because we will be leaving the area for a few weeks for our religious wedding and honeymoon and need to know if we need to fly back early in case we had an interview...

Hoping Grand Rapids is empty for a walk in today.

There were 3 people ahead of us for the walk in. One of the biometrics technicians went on break and when she came back from break my husband had his biometrics. We were there 30 minutes with 10 minutes being the actual taking of the biometrics. Yeah!

Received mail from the USCIS today. I was hoping it was a transfer to CSC notice. Instead, it was an interview notice for September 15th. Darn! Maybe the Seattle office likes to do interviews. Oh well, at least it's progress.
