Still no news from USCIS since July 26,2010 .No touches no Bio letter .......is that normal ??

I hope that i will hear good news this week .

Have a nice day everyone .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Mathew did his biometrics today and the charleston office was absolutely deserted. He was in and out in 10 minutes.

Now I'm just waiting for our case to resume processing.

I'll never understand why they think it's so fun to lose our paperwork. Thank goodness what they lost of ours wasn't something that took some time to replace.

My husband just got his biometrics letter this morning (that must have been why there were the touches on 8/9). His appointment is on Sept. 3. I am not sure if we will attempt a walkin appointment or not. I have to check out the Grand Rapids, MI Application Service Center to find out.

I think things on the immigration/paperwork front got more stringent post Janet Napolitano taking the job at Homeland Security. I know in my former job w. the Canadian government, EVERYTHING on an international level went insane after she became Secretary. A nice little sampling of her I-Don't-Trust-Canada stance is here (from 2009):

Blah.

Anyways: I have a good friend whose husband (from France) sent his AOS/EAD/AP on the very same day as I did (Chicago got both of our things on July 22nd). Guess who has their biometrics appointment letter in hand already (as of yesterday)? AND nothing was lost and/or RFE's of any variety.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy for ANYONE going through this process quickly and unscathed, but based on almost 2 years' worth of observation, Canadians have their work cut out for them compared to ALOT of other countries.

Just got the email that our case is back to processing. Now hopefully they wont need anything else.

But knowing my luck they'll have lost his medical, too and we'll get another RFE for that. I hope not, but with as many medicals as they've been losing lately for Canadians I'm expecting it.

Hey, don't worry - in the end, you'll be fine, you'll get the GC - it might just take a while. Our K-1 journey took foreeever, also because of events we couldn't have foreseen and that were beyond our responsibility. Meanwhile, a now good friend of mine just rushed through the entire process from I-129f to visa in hand in merely 5 months... It took me more than a year after I was refused entry to come back to my honey. It just takes patience and a lot of strength. Good luck. I'm sure you'll get your appointment tomorrow - btw it depends on how fast USPS works, too.

Anyway, good luck
