Good news!! Well I guess we have no choice but to wait. I called USCIS as I was told to today, but my husband's name is not even on the system. Well I guess we have no other choice but to wait.

Got my biometrics appointment today.

18th August at 11am.

It's sooner than I thought it would be, actually. But it sort of works out for the best-we have to take a three hour drive to Kansas City for the appointment, and luck would have it on that day we were planning on being at Kansas City anyways.

I was going to seattle for my biometrics.. it was super crowded.. not a chance even after 3 hours

Congrats on your successful walk-in! What a relief huh

Wow. I thought that the Alexandria office would be super busy because we waited about 2 hours just to get a SSN! But it was a graveyard. Did you get your SSN yet and was it also really busy?

I guess Seattle would be a large port of entry since it's on the coast. I went to school in Seattle, actually. We'll be moving back there in a few years :) miss the green-ness!

Oh wow.. took me about 15 minutes to get my SSN application over with - but that was a whole different office, too... I got my SSCard 3 days after I applied.. no biggie..

Seattle is awesome - I sure love its greenness too! We'll be moving away from Seattle but I'm sure we'll come back a lot for some Puget flair.

*raises hand*

I'm not too freaked about that (yet)-going by timelines, I might start getting worried mid August and onwards.

I'm way more concerned re: getting my Advance Parole document for early October. Want. Visit. Hooooommmmmme.

POUTINEEEE hmmmmm I want some too haha!

Yeah local office for biometrics.. And from what i see, there's no office in Austin, so since San Antonio is the closest one, i guess yes, San Antonio... Lucky you live in Austin!! I love Austin! 6th street is the best hehe. I'm in Dallas, and i went 2 times to Austin yet. And going back in October
