I've been using the same little one that I've had since I started college. I think it's about time she was retired. She's starting to get a little upset with all the papers we've been printing out lately. Poor Miss Printie. :crying:

So I called USCIS to find out why the heck they cash my darn check and they didn't send me a receipt notice yet. So right then and there I realized I spell G's last name wrong on 1 of the forms so the rep said she'll correct it. Lets see what happens when I call back next week to check on it. She also gave me 3 receipt numbers that neither of which works so I guess I just have to wait.

Oh and uh, they said the noa was mailed 7/27...

My numbers didn't work until two days after I got the texts. Maybe yours is just taking a little bit of time to be loaded into the system. I just wonder how she can correct something like that when they send out RFE's all the time. Seems like every time we've messed something small up like that we should be able to call in and have them "fix it", saving precious time. I'm curious to see how that plays out the next time you call in.

Ugh, still no biometrics letter. David and I are going to NYC this weekend with my little sister to celebrate her 21st birthday. I plan to have one glass of wine and watch her for the rest of the night! We will also see Wicked the musical on Broadway. Looking forward to it!

Since we leave around 2pm tomorrow, I won't be able to check the mail...

So, c'mon day 14/15 from the date of NOA1 and day 10/11 of receiving hard copy!

I read in another thread that you can put in a service request if you don't get your appointment notice, so I may do that around day 30 or so if it gets to that point.

Happy weekend everyone!

It's been exactly a week now since my AoS package was received by USCIS.

No word from them yet.

Since our last attempt to submit our AoS package was rejected, I am being extra anxious about this one. I hope they'll cash our check soon.

I sent out my AOS package the same day from Missouri and keep checking the USPS tracking website. It has said 'en route to destination' for the past week! I'm getting slightly concerned. Especially since we used a cashiers check meaning the money is already out of our account.

Do we receive any Text/email notification about the biometrics letter being mailed? Or you only discover it has been mailed to you when you happily find it in your mailbox?? :P

I had a happy surprise in my snail mail box. I think they only send txt/email when there are major things going on. Like the dot changes on the website.

I mailed my husband's AOS package on Monday 7/26/10 and expected it to be received on Wednesday 7/28/10 (because it took 2 days for the first AOS package that was rejected for my husband's wrong birthdate). But it is still saying "in transit" on the USPS.com website. I just think that the U.S. Postal Service forgot to "scan" our stuff because it can't take that many days to make it to a post office box.

I sent out my AOS package the same day from Missouri and keep checking the USPS tracking website. It has said 'en route to destination' for the past week! I'm getting slightly concerned. Especially since we used a cashiers check meaning the money is already out of our account.

I think it is just a USPS oversight where they forgot to "scan" our barcodes when they were delivered. I expect my check will be cashed by next Wednesday (7 days after I assumed it would be delivered). Hopefully I didn't screw up anything else major on the form. The birthdate in Oct. 2010 for my husband was such an annoyance.

My USPS.com account just finally said that the item was delivered on 7/28/10! Yeah! Finally at the post office. I think I was correct that USPS.com just doesn't "update" like I would expect a tracking service to update. Okay, now the wait for the emails begins! Then the NOA1. I don't expect it until next Wednesday, Aug. 4 but I definitely have great expectations!
