Don't know what happened in my wife's interview yesterday

My wife went in for her interview yesterday in Kathmandu. She said their were a few nepali ladies working instead of the normal american employees that conduct the interviews. All they did was ask for her passport and take the photo albums she brought with her and told her to come back on friday. She asked if they wanted our chats, letters, etc as supporting evidence and they told her no but to bring them back on friday also. They didn't ask her any questions and told her she was finished and could go. They didnt say she got her visa, only to return on friday. Unfortunately my wife didnt ask what was happening. There were other people in the room waiting for their visa and they did the same thing for them also...Any idea what's going on?

Thankfully we only have a few more hours to see what's going on....I just hope and pray my wife's case isn't going in for review....

no us citizens = no visa officers for interview.

No clue why no us citizens inside the Embassy, sorry - but

do let us know what happened on Friday?

IMO, NO ONE was interviewed yesterday, yer wife included.

I agree with Darnell. I believe those ladies were pre-screeners. Go prepared on Friday with all the evidence again.

My wife got her visa on Friday!!!!!! She said the interview took about 3 minutes and was very general. She picks up her passport next week.....

Finally the wait is over....

If anyone is reading this and involved in this long tedious process...Don't give up...Youll make it!!!
