Man, I really with I lived in a state that allowed me to send my application to Vermont. California has taken over a week just to cash my check so far.

I think it just varies...I was reading that California was on fire...then Vermont a couple of yrs ago....guess it depends on manpower, your own efforts, and the individual going over your packet...do they want to be super sluth?..or if all rules were followed, its gets greenlight...its so many variables..

Visa received: Aug 18th

Travel to US: Aug 19th

Marriage: Sept 3rd 2010 !!

AOS/AP/EAD: Sent Sept 20th

NOA 1 (for all 3) Sept 30th

Biometrics appt: Oct 27th 2010

AOS interview: Dec 15th 2010

17 Jan 2011 - Point of entry: Detroit, Michigan

21 Feb 2011 - Day we got married

Adjustment of Status | Orlando, Florida:

15 Mar 2011 - AOS packet was mailed

18 Mar 2011 - Packet Delivered

23 Mar 2011 - Check cashed

28 Mar 2011 - Received NOA1 in the mail for I-485 & I-765

06 Apr 2011 - I-485 Case transferred to CSC

03 May 2011 - Biometrics for I-485 & I-765

11 May 2011 - Green Card & EAD in Production 44 days after NOA1 :)

16 May 2011 - GC & EAD at hand!

Lifting Conditions:

17 Jan 2013 - Receive reminder mail from USCIS to file I-751

09 Feb 2013 - Mailed complete I-751 packet

11 Feb 2013 - Packet Delivered to Vermont

14 Feb 2013 - Check Cashed

18 Feb 2013 - Receive NOA in the mail for I-751 (says conditional status extended for another year, yay!)

OMG OMG OMG OMG I'M FREAKING OUT

I just woke up this morning and went to the USCIS website to check our status and it said we were touched 07/08/2010 and then I went to CHECK MY CASE STATUS and it changed from Initial review to POST decision activity and I just got on my fiances email and we got this email

Receipt Number

Application Type

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 7, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

DOES IT REALLY MEAN WHAT IT SAYS! IS THIS NOA2???? WHY SO SOOON? OMG SO MUCH TO DO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IM FREAKING OUT NOW!

Yes, it does. It seems the Vermont processing center is just rocking out the petitions. Fee's will change July 13 and if I am not wrong, the K-1 is going down. I think they want to get all the older petitions gone. Good for us! I got my NOA1 on June 9 and same NOA2 approval June 30.. Nice, very nice.

It took 9 buisness days before NVC recieved and processed my case, So I would wait atleast 3 buisness days before I started calling NVC to get your NVC case number :thumbs:

What part of that, if any, is applicable to us considering we filed for the K1 Visa using I-129F Form?

Don't get discouraged! We sent off the packet June 3rd and didn't receive the hard copy of the NOA1 till June 22nd!

Congratulations!!! That is great news!!

2005---We met by friend/Church member that was living in Nigeria

2006---We begin to talk about getting married

2007---I was going to met him face to face, but hurt my back couldn't walk..

2009---Was able to see each for the first time.. I got my engagement ring (WOW).. :wow:

2010-01-22 mailed I129f

2010-01-26 got NOA1

2010-05-12 called to see why no NOA2, I was told that our case is not being processed yet!!!!! No notes in the computer

other then the mailing of the NOA1!!!!!!! :angry:

2010-05-18 called SERVICE CENTER again to see what's going on with our case.. NOT BEING PROCESSED YET I WAS TOLD AGAIN!!!

2010-06-16 Got notice that NOA2 was approved 141 days after NOA1. We got our approval on Ossy's Birthday.. Happy birthday honey, I love you!!!!

2010-06-21 got NOA2 in hand

2010-06-22 called NVC to see if papers was there, but was told that my DOB was not right in the system. Just mailed a letter along with a copy of my birth certificate asking to change my DOB.. Way to go VCS..

2010-06-22 NVC received the case

2010-06-23 Case sent to Embassy in Barbados

2010-06-28 Embassy received our case

2010-08-09 Interview Administrative Review

2010-11-15 Approved for Visa (I was on the mission to make sure the INTERVIEWER that we had never interviewed anyone else and I did it).. Know that you have right and don't let the interviewer cross the line..

2010-12-10 Visa and Passport in hand!!! Thank God!!!

2010-12-19 Ossy will enter the States!!
