Who can apply for US citizenship?

Hi I just have a question,I am still waiting for my greencard and also my 2 K2's and My husband is currently working overseas in a

US MILITARY CONTRACT and he heard from his workmate who was married to a Filipina also that right after the wife got the greencard they applied

for US Citizenship and not sure how log it took for her to have it,i didnt know the whole story but my husband told me that his workmate wife and their kids

is already in Kuwait and they said that We don't have to wait that long because my husband is working in a US Military Contract,how true is this?

yes it is true, after you get a greencard, you can apply for the naturalization as long as you meet the requirements.

it's under the article 319 b of immigration and nationality act.
