How long did it take your case to get to the NVC?

As my case was approved the same day and i have contacted the senator as well but still no answer... Question remains what do we do as this seems its not common how do we get it to visa center... This is causing alot of stress for me and my finace i am like running to uscis office to try to get an answer there must be something one can do

Yes, I feel you pain, but there is nothing we can do at this point. This is really sucks. I don't think USCIS will try to help us unless 60-90 days passed. I keep calling NVC every day to see if my file magically appear there. Good luck my friend. Let me know if you hear anything.

Ok this is what happened today. I went to uscis office an told them tje whole story and that no one was helping or giving out the right answer.she looked up in the system and found out the file is still at vermont center and is being consalidated. She tried calling the center and got no reply she emalied the vermont center and got a automated reply. Than she made a copy of my letter and asked me to come back tomrrow because she said this is wrong and they should send to nvc. She said she would get a consular officer to request the file.... I dont think you should wait or re file i told her about your case and she said not to re file. You should go to your uscis office they were really helpful

You should contact your senator(s) and congressmen. In my case they were useless, but I heard some are actually really good on resolving issues like this.

Calling USCIS headquarter at Washington got things moving. They found my original petition within a few hours. Sending duplicate copy (per USCIS instructions) was a waste of time

I guess it's too early to get excited, since NVC still don't have my petition, but at least I can see on the USCIS status page they sent me a new Approval Notice.

Don't wait, contact your congressman or senator now. Once they send inquiry to USCIS it will take a few weeks for them to receive an answer from their congressional liason at the USCIS

As I understand, USCIS sends your petition to NVC within 24 hours after the approval. If NVC doesn't have your case within 15 days in their system your petition is still at USCIS. I suspect the reason why this happens is that USCIS either archived without sending first or adjuster putted in the wrong tray and it's just laying there.
