How long did it take your case to get to the NVC?

Dodi, I've been playing with the DHL tracking thing for the past few days, and it's nice. It seems that, for the London packages, they get shipped out in the evening, travel for a day, then arrive at the embassy about lunch time the day after that. Mine was sent out on Monday and arrived in London yesterday, so I plan on calling the DOS tomorrow to see if they've sent out P3 yet. Yours will likely arrive tomorrow!

We are not at the interview scheduling stage yet, just the P3. London has been sending out the P3 letters pretty quickly, within a day or two of receiving the package from the NVC, and that is what I'm calling to check on, not an interview date.

The packet I sent Express Mail Guaranteed for him with all of his paperwork in it won't even arrive there till tomorrow or Monday, so that's perfect timing!!

Ohh I see, it's different story in Kiev. You don't need to wait for P3 to scheduled the interview. It can be downloaded from their web site. As soon your case hits their system you can schedule it.

I just sent my fiance's stuff to him yesterday, but the stuff I sent is just supporting documentation, not the actual forms, so he can send the forms back pretty much any time now. I think he will most likely send them next week. And from what I can tell from other's timelines, I'm expecting an interview date in September sometime. Considering I was expecting our NOA2 sometime around September originally, this is pretty great!

And at this rate, who knows, your fiance and mine might have their interviews on the same day!

Our NOA2 approved the 12th....mailed out the 13th received the 16th. Honestly I don't think I could have taken them taking their time with this leg of the journey....especially after the NOA2 dragging along. Hope they get their fingers out for y'all.

I just got a letter from NVC telling they got my case, 2 days after getting NOA2 hard copy. The letter is dated for the same day I got the NOA2 hard copy. That was fast!

I had my NOA2 on July 1 as well and it was in the hands of NVC and sent to my consulate within 7 days. I'd call them.

I keep calling them every day, sometimes even 2 twice a day. Not sure what to do at this point. USCIS tells they don't have it, so as NVC

NVC still have no records of my file. I suspect VSC forgot to sent my casefile

I just spoke to immigration officer at USCIS and he told me that my file was transferred to New York office for processing before it's forwarded to NVC Immigration Office. Why would they do that? Is this something new?

Something sounds fishy. You need to call the DOS and if they can't help you, call the USCIS and ask for a Supervisor. They shouldn't have sent your case to NY. NY doesn't even handle K1's.

In the past several weeks I called everyone you can think of; DOS, NVC, USCIS, Congressman, Senators even consulate at Kiev. Spoke to secretaries, operators, officers. Been yelled at, hung up, told it will take up to 90 days for NVC to get receive my case and when I tried to argue that this is not true, yelled at and hang up

The only legit answer I got in the last months was today. Immigration officer at USCIS that my case was forwarded to New York Immigration office. When I asked him why? He told me sometimes when they get busy for faster processing (faster??? what processing???) they forward approved petitions to local offices before it reaches NVC.

He gave me confirmation number, took my email address and told me someone will get back to me within 10 days.
