How long did it take your case to get to the NVC?

My case has still not made it either JVF. Im 5 days behind you as well. Called NVC last night and had a lady tell me to call back friday, which is the 15 business day, and if it still not recieved to request research. Uggh so frustrating, keep me posted JVF, which you well!!

Did NVC send yours to consulate yet?

I got my NOA2 in mid June stating that my approved petition had been forwarded to the NVC. Within about 8 days I got a letter from the NVC saying that "within 1 week" it would be forwarded to the Consulate in London. This was June 30th. STILL have not received any kind of notification stating whether it was actually sent, or if it WAS sent, if it had been received in London. Unsure what the notification process is on MY side once the petition has left the NVC for London Consulate.

Anyone know what kind of notice (if any) is given once the packet leaves the NVC??

(I think the next notification will be my fiance calling me in a few weeks telling me he got his packet!!)

Considering the speedy processing thus far (which came as a huge suprise) I'm trying not to let this minor lag time stress me out!

Call the DOS to see if/when it was sent to London.

202-663-1225 (Press 1 for the main menu, then 0 for an operator; if that doesn't work, press 1, 4, 2, 3, 2, 0)

Give them your LND case number and they can tell you if/when it's been moved.

Any updates? I remember mine taking awhile... and one day you will call them and they will have it.... so just some persistence will do

nothing here and it's been 16 days since I received NOA2. Next Thursday will be 15 business days. I guess that's when they start searching for my file.

Found out my case was sent to the embassy yesterday. I'm sorry it's taking yours so long, JVF. Hopefully they can get it there soon. At least they are shuffling them out very quickly from the NVC as well, so hopefully you'll gain some time back there.

Alright guys, on the 14th business, my case has finally been recieved by the NVC. Dos just transfered me over to the NVC so I can possibly get my case#. Where can I track my case status with the NVC and what else should I be doing or looking out for at this moment during my process? Thanks Guys! JVF, hang in there! I was a bit doubtful about my package but got great news this morning, should be anytime for ya!!

Unfortunately for K1's there is no way to track it once it leaves the USCIS unless you call them. Once you have the case number, call them in about 2 to 3 days to see if it's been sent to the Embassy/Consulate. Once that's happened, you'll have to check with either the embassy/consulate or DOS to see if/when it's been received. As I said earlier, mine only took 2 days to send on to the Embassy, so hopefully yours will fly out the door very quickly too!

Actually there is, you just need to know when it was shipped by NVC.

1. go to http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

2. In Shipper´s Reference type "EXP <date when NV shipped> JUL 2010A" (without ")

3. Date range for shipment - From <date> Date range for shipment - To <date>

4. Shipment Destination <your country>

I even tried it with dates before, and without a desitnation country and nothing happened. I figured I'd get a long list without the country, but NOTHING.

Oooooo - Added in SPACES before and after the "13" and it worked! It's left the Cincinnati hub!

They sent it yesterday, so I used the day before for the waybill date. It works!

Dodi, I've been playing with the DHL tracking thing for the past few days, and it's nice. It seems that, for the London packages, they get shipped out in the evening, travel for a day, then arrive at the embassy about lunch time the day after that. Mine was sent out on Monday and arrived in London yesterday, so I plan on calling the DOS tomorrow to see if they've sent out P3 yet. Yours will likely arrive tomorrow!
