How long did it take your case to get to the NVC?

Got through to the NVC. Nothing. They suggested I call the USCIS to see when my packet was sent.

Called the USCIS and was escalated after begging. Then was disconnected. Called back. Rather rude escalation operator told me that they can't even email the NVC to check on things till it's been 30 days, so I need to keep waiting. She said she could only see a transcript of work done on my case in her system, that it was approved, but that doesn't tell her if/when it was sent to the NVC.

It's definitely in NVC. They just didn't entered. You can try emailing nvcresearch@state.gov

Ok, just emailed, attached a copy of the NOA2 and used my receipt number as the Subject. Hopefully that will help.

Got my answer at 11:30 last night. I was literally on speed dial to the NVC while being wheeled out of the emergency room with walking pneumonia. (Yes... I'm THAT crazy trying to get a case update.)

My case was received at the NVC yesterday, so it's just gotten there and will hopefully be sent out later in the week to London!!!

Congrats Dodi. I just sent them an email as well. Maybe I will hear something as well. My case was approved just a few days before you on the 25th of June. I called them yesterday around 10:00 A.M. central and was still not recieved as of then. Soooo I will give them a call and see if something happened possibly yesterday afternoon into the evening hours with my case. Congrats Dodi and best of luck with the rest of the process!!

I called USCIS and requested to talk to Immigration officer. Immigration Officer sent the inquiry to NVC to find out what is going on with my case. That non-sense with "it could take up to 90 days" is wrong. This does not apply to K1.

well I called and still nothing...I also sent the NVC an email, we'll see if i recieve anything back from them. NVC told me it could take up to 90 days 2 different times. I even called the uscis today to see if they could look into my case, and they would not even let me give them my case# to pull anything up. He told me to call back in 90 days. I dont know what the hell is going on but i feel like a yo yo right now.

Don't listen to them. Some operators don't know what they are talking about. For K1 visas does not take that long. Today I asked for supervisor in NVC and immigration officer at USCIS office and both told me if it takes more then 15 working days NVC will research it.

Until then they will do nothing.

remember that when you are calling the NVC that they update there system at 3pm everyday.. so try to call after that time

How can I find out if my case has made it to the NVC? I got my NOA2 maybe a week and a half ago.
