Hi all, I seriously don't understand much of the "legal" language spoken in this forum, oas aos ssn and such, so please reply in a way I can understand please :)

I applied for removal of conditions, lots of bona fide evidence, received the one year extension receipt, then got an appointment for biometrics, did the bio metrics and waited for my interview, I was sure there was going to be one since I am divorced from the US ex-spouse. Instead I got an "congratulations" approval letter stating my case was approved and I should wait for the 10 year green card to arrive in the mail with a package.

The letter states my old address even tho I have updated this with the USCIS prior to the date of approval. I have still not received the card, 30 days later. It says "allow us 30-60 days" but still, usually it gets sent out somewhat quick right?

I am almost starting to wonder if there's something wrong, but the approval letter states my name, my case number and all other info, the address is wrong. I also for a second imagined it was a prank letter but the paper is official with the water marks inside and the letterhead also.

I called USCIS and they told me to call another number to call and have them resend it if it would get sent back to them?

If you don't get your card in the time allotted call them back and speak to someone directly. Tell them that you got your approval letter but you moved and you think your card got returned to USCIS.

The same thing happened to me when I got my two year card because my husband moved between when we got approved and when we got the card. It got returned and we had to call in and change the address with an agent. Just talk to them, let them update your info in the system and they will find your card and send it to the correct address. Until you get the other card make sure you hold on to your NOA1 as proof of the extension of your residence.

lollo83,

Would it be possible for you to post your marriage, divorce, adjustment of status, and Removal Of conditions timelines just so it can help us waiver filers out :)

Also did you send it to California or Vermont?
