Wait on Packet 3????

I read somewhere that people are sending their information (DS-230-Part 1, Form DS-156 and DS-157) to the US Embassy prior to receiving the "packet 3" in the mail. Is this ok? We have the NVC case number, but I was just making sure that it is actually prudent to do this in advance. Thanks for the help!!

that's ok, I couldn't wait for the package, I downloaded the forms and emailed them, when I received the pck 3 I already had my interview date

Can I just check then...Does the I-134 form and documents get taken to the interview and not posted to the embassy along with the other forms?? (My fiance has just posted me all his documents)

But if we can get moving on the interview date now, that would be fantastic!
