Hi Everyone,

We quickly received the NOA for the I751 application which states the greencard is good for one year and my husband can travel. However, should he take the original with him on his trip to Europe in September or a copy?

Thanks!

Original - some members reported that even when they returned to the US, they were not asked to present the extension letter since the system already shows it extended... but if they do, then the original needs to be presented.

Yes. Advisbale to carry the original on him, especially when he is traveling abroad. Beyon the US borders, the Immigration officials might want the original documents as proof. Also, do carry your Green Card with you, even if Expired.
