Hello everyone, about a week ago I had a topic about Concurrent Filing but didn't really get a lot of response...

Anyways, I'm not sure if it was a mistake to send I-130 and I-129F concurrently... I only got a NOA1 from I-130 in May but never got a response from I-129F... will USCIS just automatically pursue I-130 and close out the I-129F at CSC? I mean, I sent the whole package of I-864, IRS stuff, etc... Was that a big BOOBOO on my part? Can anyone give me some hope? Do I get penalized for that? Is it better to call CSC?

I'm going nuts about this whole thing... and I miss my wife...

TY & GB,

James

No, it wasn't a BIG mistake, but USCIS will likely process the I-130 and ignore the rest (including your I-864 which you will need to complete again at NVC)

You can call CSC but we call it here the mis-information line

Good luck

Thanks Canadian Wife, I appreciate the info. The I-864, IRS and Employment Stuff is easy for me to reproduce because I've made copies... I wish I knew about VJ before I sent my packages out. Didn't realize how harder it is this time around to not be with your significant other than before we got married... Waiting is the hardest part in anything... God is in-charge and in control.

NVC will want to see all again - DS-230, I-864. You didn't like my other answer in your other thread ? OK !

Maybe read it again, click through the links, this time ? (or not, yer choice, ah ? )

I dunno about the waiting deal.. I felt more stressed doing paperwork correctly and collecting the evidence... Now that i submitted my paperwork. I feel i can sitback and have a beer... AND NOT STRESS OUT!

Trust me, waiting will be easy! You have your whole lives together! Enjoy the downtime before couples life takes off!
