I just revieved the I-797 Notice of Action, which states Approval Notice. It says it is valid from 6/30/10 thru 10/30/10, I called the customer service number of 800-375-5283. The man said that they are done with the case and that my fiancee should call the US embassy in the U.A.E and give them the approval numbers to see about filing for her visa. He also said that they may set up a time for her to come down for her interview, Is this correct or is there more papers to be filed?

Hi, this is Shinbell again. Is there anyone can give some wisdom guides about the further steps of K1 visa process after we have got approved I-797?I have a few questions as following:

1. After he received the approved mail from VSC, then what will he should do? Should he fill any forms and what kind of forms he need do fill? What kind of personal documents or official documents will he be inquired for our further visa process?

2. What kind of documents should I prepare now? Do I need to fill any forms and where can I get them? I heard the people from China, the American Consulate in Guangzhou will mail them some documents.So should I waiting for any mail from the US embassy in Abu Dhabi?(My interview have been required in Abu Dhabi USA Embassy.)

When did you receive the NOA2...if it has been a week since you got the notice if I were you I would call the NVC at 603.334.0700 they will tell you if your case is there or not and if it has been sent to the interviewing country.

Also you as the petitioner wants to start gathering your documents of support for the I-134 which is the affidavit of support. Please look up your country embassy information here on VJ and it can tell you more about your specific embassy and what is needed for the interview. Also you can look under guides here on VJ it will show you a flowchart of the things needed from this point on....Good luck

Thank you patient2010, we received the mail package yesterday. I have seen your report "July 6. 2010 Case finally left NVC and was sent to Nigeria (it was in additional processing at NVC for 22days)",could you tell me how you did know that date? So that I can find out my date also. Thanks!
