Questions Regarding the process After NOA2.

So I know now that I have received my NOA2 that my case will go to the VSC and then forwarded down to the embassy down in Colombia, So here are my questions , and to quote Denzel Washington in the movie Philadelphia: “talk to me like I’m a 3 year old”

1- I found VisaJourney.com AFTER I sent in my original 129F, So no.. I did NOT make a copy of the entire package I sent them. Am I wrong to assume that my original binder with all my tabs and docs is what is actually forwarded to the embassy?

2- What should I prepare on my end here in the States? Do I need to FedEx anything down to My fiancée?

3- Am I wrong in assuming that that the next thing that should happen is my fiancée receiving a packet form the Consulate in Bogota?

I appreciate any input from those who have made this journey before me, you all have been a great help and source of re-assurance.

1. you entire package is forwarded to the embassy, is recommended a copy of this pack, just in case they lose some document

2. You must to submit your most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Also: Employment letters stating salaries with the I-134 form (original I-134 must be sent) and recents paystubs (at least 3 months)

3. That's correct, but it could take time (1 or 2 months), she can use the shortcut downloading the forms and emailing the pck 3 (forms ds-230 and ds-2100)

I can only answer one question as most are consulate specific. Sounds like you received your approval notice (I know everyone calls it a "NOA2" but a NOA2 could also be an RFE).

Next your package will go to the NVC (national visa center). You will get a letter from them saying it will soon be sent on to your consulate but you should call them to be sure (and know exactly when it was sent on).

The pck 3 must be send when you have certainty that the embassy has already received your case.
