i'm pretty conservative in general. i do however lurch to the left on some issues. it doesn't seem to change no matter which party is in power really.

it is true, power does corrupt.

i see the repubs going too far to the right when they are in power so i welcome a change. the same applies to the dems.

Obama has rushed to the far left and has lost a lot of the people that voted for him. i doubt he will ever be a middle man. he doesn't get on my nerves too too much, but having said that, i prefer just 1 term for this president. i think, however he could get 2 terms if the economy bounces back to full steam ahead at election time. when americans are able to shop, they don't care who rules (shopping rules in america!!!).

Clinton seemingly rushed to the far left in his first 2 years but then firmly rooted himself in the middle (my opinion). i think he ruled not by conviction, but by the polls which is okay with me.

Leaning is not the same as being more in tune or vocal about what you stand for, two different statements were made. Knowing a little bit about his politics you assumed/guessed thats what he meant.

i didn't use to. i never watched oreilly, hannity, beck, or foxnews. until the VJ advertising commitee kept b!tchin about them. i was thinking 'these people are d!cks & i disagree with everything they say. maybe i'll like foxnews'. so, i checked them out. now i dvr all of them. i think that happens more often then the haters think it does. i'm sure fox appreciates it.

oreilly - he's a straight up tool. he doesn't care left or right. if you disagree with him, he berates you. love it.

hannity - he's as conservative as you can be & hates obama. he's like ward cleaver w/ a political tv show.

beck - he's like a slapstick comedian w/ a tv show....screw you he's funny.

i don't agree with beck on a lot of things. i do enjoy his show. he's kinda like the drunk uncle at the bbq. he's more entertaining than enlightening... but, i think he is trying to be more entertaining than enlightening.

Pike you know thats not true, we have had many debates and you know I take some liberal positions so that was nothing more than a cheap shot. That said one who changes his/her ideas and philosophy according to who is in office stands for very little and has mental diarrhea.

Your problem is that you insist on pigeonholing yourself into narrowly defined categories.
