I sent my N-400 without G-1154 E-Notification application form. My N-400 has been delivered. How can I get email or text notification? Is there a way that I can do to get email or text notification?

You have to register on the USCIS website https://egov.uscis.g...ectusertype.jsp

After you register you have to open your Case Portfolio. You need your application # for that. In the Portfolio you can select email or text alert on or off.

Hello,

I am new to VJ.

I got my FP request for 8/31. Will it speed things up if I go early? Why is my appointment so late compared to everyone else?

I've read lots of posts that suggested fellow applicants to go for a walk-in FP to counteract a late scheduled FP. It may be feasible if your local USCIS office okays it though personally I will do things by the book to avoid any possible consequence due to such an act. One thing you should be aware of is if you are applying within the 90 days period prior to your 3 or 5 year anniversary, even if an early FP may "expedite" the process and grant you an "early" interview, you won't be able to swear in until after your 3 or 5 year anniversary mark (based on the previous posts on this forum, the USCIS would either reschedule your interview or delay your oath date to ensure the fulfillment of the 3 or 5-year residency requirement.)

Well, if that's the case, then the scenario I mentioned should not affect you because by the time your interview is schedule (presumably after 9/1/2010), your have already fulfilled the 5 year continuous residency. The only thing that I can think of that will impact the pace of your case is the amount of time that your local USCIS district office and the FBI use to handle your case. Last time I checked it seems that the Milwaukee field office currently meets its goal in processing N-400 applications (less than 5 months), which is a good news. I don't want to stress over it but just can't stop myself thinking or worrying , I don't know what the hell happened to my FP notice!!

in a few days one month will be finished :crying: still no news regarding FP appointment..

USCIS received my applicati on july 8th, should I wait until august 8th and call them or what?

I really don't know what to do...
