I operate a business and I have just found out that I need to be here the day of my wife's interview. Does it make a great deal of difference in interview if the husband is there? I have not been in the Philippines in over a year and i wonder if that will be a red flag. All our pictures together would be from that trip. If I reschedule how far back will they move the appointment?

1. I need to be here the day of my wife's interview.

If you think that the situation is calling for your presence then, do it.

2. Does it make a great deal of difference in interview if the husband is there?

Yes! and No. Yes because it shows that you are the one on those pictures, and you are there as a moral support for her.

No, because it really depends on the gravity of the evidences that you guys presented. Sometimes there are unexpected happening that your presence has no control over it. (e.g problem with her documents)

3. I have not been in the Philippines in over a year and i wonder if that will be a red flag.

No. My husband and I haven't seen each other for 1 year and 2 months when I had my interview. So long your fiancee has all the documents she needs and proof of relationship too.

4. Do you need to re-schedule?

It depends on your answer on #1.

Good luck.
