Small mistake on G-325A :(

So today we were looking over the DS-230 that we started filling out for my husband while I was in Turkey with him, and we checked his G-325A to make sure everything was the same, all the dates lined up, etc. While we're looking over that form--"Oops! I made a small mistake on this form... but it won't be a problem, right?"

My husband put the wrong "From" date for his current job. He started there in September 2007 but for some reason had a brain freeze and put November '07 on the G-325A that we sent in back at the end of March. How can we rectify this, if at all? Can he just put the correct date on the DS-230 without issue? (I'm doubtful of this.) Should we try to contact USCIS to let them know of the mistake, or would that just cause bigger problems?

I also made a few mistakes on the G-325a. I listed the location of both my parents' birth incorrectly. Now, seriously, how was USCIS to know where my parents were born to catch the mistake - they couldn't and didn't. I corrected the mistake on the Ds-230 and mentioned it at the interview and it was not an issue

Thank you! It seems like they're pretty strict about stuff like where foreign spouses/fiance(e)s have lived, and so I imagine they'd be the same way about jobs. But it's really good to know that it wasn't an issue for you; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for us too.
