What kind of clothes to wear in the medical?Do they have an outfit requirement or whatever can do.I plan to wear jeans and blouse but all of my jeans and blouses are tight fitting..I read here somewhere its best to wear lose fitting outfit for the medical.My lose fitting clothes are dresses so, Is it OK to wear a dress? :blink:

APRIL 14, 2009 – CRBA CERTIFICATE AND US PASSPORT RECEIVED(YAY!!!)

DECEMBER 23, 2010 - received biometrics appointment(JAN 14,2010)dated DEC 17.

NO dress code required. You can even wear flip flops if you want.

You can wear what you want. My wife wore comfortable jeans and a top...and sandals.

It's cold in St. Lukes...so you may want to bring along a jacket or a sweater.

You may want to take the stairs instead of the elevator in St. Lukes...so you may want to wear comfortable shoes.

You will be doing a lot of waiting...so you may want to bring along a book or some magazines.

The medical takes up several hours...so you may want to hide a snack in your purse...manong guard won't look!

I wore a 3/4 sleeve top and a skirt for the first day and a dress for the second. Bring a jacket if you're the type who gets chills easily. You're going to undergo a physical exam so wear something that's easy to remove. Bring a book like I did because it'll be a long wait. My medical took 8 hours - 95% was squandered waiting for my name to be called.

K-1 TIMELINE

2-12-10: I-129F arrived at CSC

2-16-10: NOA1 issued

2-20-10: NOA1 hard copy received

4-5-10: NOA2 issued

4-9-10: NOA2 hard copy received

4-26-10: Embassy sent Toni a letter

6-9 & 11-10: Medical at SLMEC - PASSED!

7-1-10: Interview - BLUE

7-6-10: Submitted additional evidence of current sustained income (paychecks)

7-13-10: Visa Approved! (FINALLY!!!)

7-19-10: Visa Issued!

7-21-10: VISA IN HAND! (Thank God! The wait is finally over.)

8-26-10: POE: LAX

10-29-10 Wedding

AOS & EAD TIMELINE

4-1-11: AOS Package arrived at Chicago Lockbox

5-2-11: NOA issued for AOS & EAD

5-6-11: NOA hard copy received for AOS & EAD
