Hi guys! I just wanted to share that our case has been expedited and had been forwarded to USEM Manila. I just confirmed this earlier when hubby informed me that he received a letter from NVC (hubby is my agent) saying that our case was expedited and that we could contact USEM Manila for further information.

I wrote to NVC last June 19, 2010 requesting for our case to be expedited. I just stated that I miss my husband and that it breaks my heart seeing our baby looking for her dad most of the time. I am not expecting this would be granted but still I tried. And luckily it was approved.

Now, I can't wait to contact USEM Manila and hear what's in store next to our journey. Do anyone know if it would be a holiday for USEM Manila this Monday or no?

Just looked at your timeline at the bottom of your post too, and was wondering if it is correct? Ie two years from NOA1 to NOA2, and then another year until the case got sent to Manila, with no RFEs in there? If so, the expedite was likely not because of your letter, but because they were so horrendously slow with your case before.

There was almost a 2yrs gap bet our NOA1 and NOA2 since our category was not IR1. Hubby is still an LPR and not yet a USC so we still fall under F2A category (Spouse and minor child of LPR) and in this category, i really takes around 3-5years before the petition could be on process in NVC due to huge volume.

But as you can see, since NOA2, our case is now on fast track.

Yup, that's correct. Case was completed June 2 but since we did not qualify for the July interview schedule due to large volume of same case in USEM Manila and desperation that we get on interview schedule the soonest possible time, I tried to write to NVC asking for our case to be expedited last June 19. Though I'm not really expecting this to be granted, God was so good and the NVC wrote to hubby saying our case was indeed expedited!

Same us the intruction when writing to NVC, write case number, beneficiary's name and date of birth and petitioner's name and date of birth first in the body of the email. As the subject line: ATTN: PI SUPERVISOR SUE but I'm not sure if this would apply to all. I got this this information from the NVC operator I've talked to prior in sending an email to NVC.

Manila closed on July 5, is Federal Holiday .

Congrats on the expedite !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

how many days before they replied on ur email?

They did not reply to my email. I just received the standard notification from NVC immediately after sending my email. I just knew it was approved after almost 2 weekds when my husband (who is my agent) received a letter from NVC stating that our case was expedited.
