I was told by our lawyer that they could not be on copy paper they had to be actual pics!

That's why you take your memory stick from your digital camera to Walmart, Ritz Camera, etc...and make copies of them right there on those nifty little digital camera machines they have.

Exactly!!!!!!!!! I know they are probably trying to save money, cuz God knows this whole process is not cheap! But thats what the lawyer told me...Real pics!

and I know some dont have to have pics until they get to the embassy to prove the relationship! I dont know what visa that is for though!

Hey guys,

I got an RFE for my I-129F. It is because of the way I included evidence of pictures in the petition. You see, I kept all of the original pictures. I used my office printer to make color photo copies of the pictures front and back because I wrote our names and locations on the back of the pictures. Now I got an RFE asking to submit pictures of me and my fiance together. Has anybody ever had this happen before? I was under the impression that it is ok to submit "copies" of all your evidence which should include pictures. Did I make a mistake by submitting copies instead of original pictures???

I did the same thing. I printed the picture on paper and typed the date and location on each picture. I had no RFE.

I think the big deal with him needing new ones is simply they were misplaced. Or he had a picky person looking at them, I think the main thing is the person looking, I have friends that needed to resubmit photos, and I also know people who didn’t submit any simply because it slipped their mind, not intentional, and they were fine as well. I did like most and simply went to a CVS (like a Walgreens) and simply put them in my package I sent, I did not even go as far as Scott or Jim, and I even forgot to write who was in the photos! I didn’t have any troubles, so this leads me to believe he just got a picky a-hole or maybe they actually did lose them.
