Can anybody help? I need my birth certificate translated into English since it's an Italian document and it's going to the US Embassy in Paris - France. Has anybody else had this problem? Whom did you use and how much did it cost? Thank you! Tiz

I used this company. I paid 250 but had 3 birth certs and a divorce decree. They were fast and professional.

Can you not translate it yourself if you are taking it to the interview? I translated all of my wife's documents when we sent in everything with the I 130 and many people here have done so, but maybe it is different when going to the actual interview.

I don't think you understand what "certifided translator" means. It actually means ANYONE who is fluent in both languages and who can certify that the info they've translated is true to their knowledge. All you have to do is translate the main info and the at the bottom of the document type something similar to the following:

Translator’s Certification

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.
